Is the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry. Initiated and paid for voluntarily by the Australian telecommunications industry, its overall aim is to prevent mobile phones from ending up in landfill. This free program accepts and recycles all types of mobile phones including their batteries, chargers and accessories from a public network of over 3,500 retailers, local councils and business drop off points across Australia. Members of the public and businesses can also post in their old mobiles for recycling using either a free recycling satchel available from Australia Post outlets or by downloading a reply paid label from www.mobilemuster.com.au. None of the phones returned are refurbished and resold, all are recycled to the highest environmental standards.
